Hakusanbou Reiraku

During the mid-Meiji era, a beautiful wandering gambler and swordswoman named Hakusanbou Ali visits a rural post station to negotiate the release of a friend's captive daughter from a local gang. When negotiations fail, Ali fights the gang single-handedly but is ultimately overwhelmed, wounded, and captured. Stripped and bound, she is subjected to brutal torture, physical abuse, and sexual humiliation by the gang boss and his men, including being forced into group encounters, offered to a wealthy patron, and displayed alongside another captive woman. Despite her fierce resistance, she is thrown into a dark cell next to ravenous hunting dogs to face a grim fate. However, an alternate ending depicts Ali successfully taking over the gang's hideout and establishing her own gambling den.
